Day 17

Friday, November 19th, 2010. Well today is the last day of work before the Thanksgiving Holiday Week. We have accomplished a lot, through tough times and through fun a lot has been done by both sides but overall everything was for the betterment of the United States of America. Be sure to watch out me for next election season and vote for me. God Bless America!

Day 15

Wednesday, November 17th, 2010. Today we have finished practicing and are putting on a play Othello. I did't go today i go tomorrow but i figured you would find out today from another senator anyways.  we are supposed to make a rendition of our interpretation of a scene from the play.

Day 14

Tuesday, November 16th, 2010. We spent all day today taking a nice break from Senate to practice in a special surprise. I cant talk to much about it right now but it will be revealed tomorrow. this is going to be very big and very special so be sure to stay tuned.

Day 13

Monday November 15th. I am proud of the US 112th Senate. We passed two bills today. We settled on a vote for the electoral college and for a robot rights bill.

Day 12

Wednesday November 10th. Well we are starting to get things started but some more bills have been brought to us from the House and we still haven't even passed the first bill we brought to our attention. this is sad. nobody is doing anything correctly. none of these senators are going to be reelected next term. not even I will be reelected. if people knew what was happening we would all be kicked out of office and have people who can take charge do so and get things on track. while i personally am not part of this pandemic of failures because I am a senator I will be packed with these others and marked as a part of a system that fails even though I personally am trying to get things done and change things for the better to be back on track.

Day 11

Tuesday November 9th. Still we have so many conflicts. there have even been bribes from a certain democratic senator *cough* Brandon *cough* to another sheepish republican senator *cough* Melissa *cough* This was an outrage to me but nobody else seemed to care other than say he shouldn't be doing that while not doing anything to stop him.

Day 10

Monday November 8th. Still nothing has passed. we have some bills from house to review. as part of the finance committee we plan on creating a bill to remove the penny and nickel from the United States Coinage as they cost most to produce than they are worth.

Day 9

Well today is Friday the 5th
Im just out of it because so much has been going on. im sorry but todays blog will be short. basically we shot down a ridiculous bill. and that took pretty much all session because the democrats were stubborn and wanted to tax more people

Thursday, November 4, 2010

Day 8

Another disastrous day. A bill to increase taxes was brought to senate today and of course all of the democrats immediately voted to have it pass of course the smart republican party immediately denied it because it would have been a rash idiotic move. One thing i also calculated is that while the democrats can never have 2/3 power on their OWN, they do however have majority which means that any time anything good is going to be released to be passed, they can deny it. However, if something stupid, like you can't go out for walks after 8 o clock on Wednesdays were to be brought up by the democrats we can not kill it right off the bat.

Day 7

About time, we finally had a meeting today. We really didn't get a lot done. Congress simply does not work the way it is right now, something needs to change. a simple question cant be answered because the pro tempore decides that she doesn't want to be nice. and a democratic issue of lowering college costs and issuing more grants, that deals with government spending is now in the hands of the banking, urban affairs, and housing committee, which deals with how a bank is standing, the housing market, and how the people are instead of the finance committee which deals with government spending. I don't know, but if you ask me. Id say that having the government make college cheaper and the government give out more money for college would be something that you want the people in charge of government spending to take care of and not some hippy group that is in charge of whether or not a bank is in good standing or not.

Day 5 and 6

Well the 112th Senate really has something serious going on. We have not met since Thursday, October 28, 2010. And it is already November 2nd, 2010. We really need to get these matters settled such as getting people off of welfare, no carbon emission controls, ending excessive malpractice law suits against doctors, tightening the borders against illegal immigrants, and even defending the right to bear arms. if we don't get a senate session soon we may never get any bills passed that would be in the best interest for the American public as unanimously decided by the republican party. Things need change, and it needs to change now.

Day 4

So today we did not meet. I was planning on bringing up some controversial issues that are important to the Republican Party but unfortunately we were unable to meet due to complications today.

Thursday, October 28, 2010

Day 3

Our Republican party brought up some bills in Senate today. we focused on what to do with the bills. There was a heated discussion about a certain bill, bill 6236 I believe. We went on for a long time talking about whether or not to vote now on the bill passing or to send the bill to a committee and then changing it so then the Senate would vote on it after it had been changed.

Day 2

So today was our first day in office. We got to work right away. This Senate term is not going to be an easy task, no way. Looks like its time to buckle down, get your serious face on, and get to work.

Day 1

Whoo. So on Tuesday, October 26 the 112nd US Congress was sworn in. Time to do Legal Stuff
